OUR WARRANTY

Our Warranty
At Seneca Building Group, our work does not end the day construction wraps. We stand behind our craftsmanship with a One-Year Limited Warranty designed to give homeowners clarity, confidence, and a clear process for addressing covered concerns after completion.
Our warranty applies to covered deficiencies in materials or workmanship, as outlined in the signed warranty agreement and the project’s construction standards. Warranty coverage begins based on the type of project, such as closing, certificate of occupancy, or final approval, and remains in effect for one year.
What the Warranty Covers
The One-Year Limited Warranty is focused on the repair or replacement of covered deficiencies or defined structural element failures. If an eligible issue is confirmed, Seneca Building Group will determine the appropriate repair or replacement method.
Manufacturer Warranties
Appliances, equipment, and consumer products may be covered by their own manufacturer warranties. Seneca Building Group’s warranty responsibility for these items is limited to proper installation, unless otherwise noted in the warranty agreement.
The 90-Day Walk-Through
Approximately 90 days after the applicable warranty start date, Seneca Building Group conducts a walk-through with the homeowner to identify minor deficiencies, cosmetic concerns, punch-list items, or finishing work that may need attention. This walk-through is part of our commitment to thoughtful follow-through after project completion.
How to Submit a Warranty Concern
Homeowners must notify Seneca Building Group in writing as soon as reasonably possible after discovering a potential covered issue. Written notice must be submitted no later than ten days after the expiration of the One-Year Limited Warranty period.
Important Warranty Notes
The warranty is personal to the original homeowner and is non-transferable. It does not cover damage caused by improper maintenance, misuse, alterations by others, acts of nature, appliance malfunctions unrelated to installation, landscaping or drainage issues, normal wear, or other excluded conditions listed in the full warranty agreement.
For complete details, homeowners should refer to their signed Seneca Building Group One-Year Limited Warranty and Warranty Confirmation Letter.
